Small Platter
I'm throwing a 25th birthday party for my parents?
There are 30 people coming, I'm the main dish Catering (chicken parm, ziti, bread garlic) and I have a cheese platter, meatballs small appetizer, salad, rolls, a sheet cake, cookies and brownies. I the impression that this is not enough, many of the guest offering to make things, but I do not know what to ask for that would go with the meal I tell myself that I would 1-2 more dishes like appetizers, and maybe another dessert or 2. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
The problem with Italian food is that two or three days, you're still hungry. How about some bruchetta keeping with the theme of the Italian? You could have some crusty bread really kickin ', a good bowl of tomato and basil to add. You can also use the bread and olive tapenade / peppers or grilled eggplant or even marinated. There is always an antipasto tray, you can throw together fairly easily, with sausages, olives, peppers, artichoke hearts, marinated mushrooms, etc. in addition to the cheese platter. I think you've got dessert covered the thing, but if you feel you need more, some fresh fruit would be a palate cleanser of Nice. Or some syrup in glasses of chocolate are always beautiful.
