Xbox 360 Am I crazy or is this a real piece of scrap?
Ok bought a 360 not a year ago $ 399.99 + taxes. Being a PC repairman 15 years I re-set the disc tray and pull hard burst. Without even seeing the VOID sticker in a place I rediculas void the warranty. Always not realizing I send it for repair. Without a hello call by embracing our butts, they returned with a little note inside. Warranty canceled due to falsification. Now, these idiots would have called said hey, we'll pay you to fix what I want to do? So now I am no loss, except the $ 400 course thinking I can just replace the DVD-Rom. Now, actually really shoot each piece I found the problem. The laser sled is powered by the Board. Well a bad controller IC or a laser engine sled who cares you cannot fix it anyway without dumping the bios board and flashing the new DVD-Rom. What a piece CRAP
Yeah mine broke too. I hate Microsoft. The worst is that it has been great during which he worked. I got a PS3, but still not completely happy.
