Rusty Ridge
Does anyone know about antique bayonets, spears, or knives?
I recently found a rusty but largely intact blade. It is 10 inches long and 3 / 8 inch thick. It tapers symmetrically to a point near the base, where it is 1 and 3 / 16 inches wide. He raised ridge along the length of the center line of the blade, the two parties. Finally, there is a metal pin, about 3 / 16 "dia., running 3 and 1 / 4 inch from the base of the blade (where a handle or grip may have added?) in the opposite direction to the blade. This May also be important: I found the blade in a rural community in southern Colorado. Ideas?
Just a guess, but it would have been a bayonet a gun?
