The kings do not wear the crown?

I was looking at some portraits Royal internet and I found something very strange. ANY of the Kings, queens, emperors, empresses, czars and emperors wear the crown on their photos! I looked at the paintings of Louis XIII, Louis XIV, Louis XV, XVI, XVIII of France, Napoleon, Queen Victoria, King George V, the Empress Maria Theresa of Austria, Kaiser Wilhelm of Germany, Emperor Franz Joseph of the Austro Hungarian Empress Catherine the Great of all the Russias, etc.. and the crown is ALWAYS their side on the pillow or on a table and I wonder why! Why not wear it on their head and instead they put on a table? Is there a special meaning that? I'm just curious ....

A crown is heavy! Therefore, even in the British monarchy, the more "traditional" in Europe, there are only two occasions when the monarch wearing a crown - the coronation, and the annual State Opening of Parliament. St Edward's Crown, used only for coronations, is made of solid gold and 444 gems with a cap of velvet inside to cushion the wearer's head, and weighs 4 pounds 12 oz's a lot for a hat, so that even in the coronation service, the king does not wear it long and replaces the crown imperial state which weighs two pounds of Queen Victoria and King Edward VII was crowned in fact imperial state crown, precisely because it is more light and they are opposed to the weight of the Crown of St. Edward. The imperial crown is also used once a year for the official opening of Parliament, during which the Queen goes to Parliament House, puts on the robes and crown, the process in the House of Lords, and when the House of Commons were summoned to his presence, she reads a speech written for her by the Prime Minister setting out the government's plans for next year. Then she goes back very Robing Room quickly, took the crown and robes off, and returns to the palace. Queen Elizabeth II was seen by his staff on the morning of State Openings wearing the crown for the practice while she eats breakfast, just to get used to the weight.
