Red 10 Plate
I found a little baseball card that says Eddie Plank is it fake or what?
i looked it up but i cant tell.it has on the back in a red box:

& under it says :
Because of a broken printing plate, the company decided to discontinue the card, rather than replace the plate. Only about 50 to 75 card exist today.
so it to me sound like a fake but if it is, is it worth anything?
It's a real card, it's just not an original.
The card you have is a reprint from the mid 1980s and was part of a kids baseball card starter kit sold in toy stores. In this reprint set there is T206 Wagner, T207 Lowdermilk, T207 Lewis, R319 Lajoie, and others in addition to the T206 Plank.
No original card will list the value on it. That is determined by supply and demand. The value that is listed on the back of your card is what the original was worth over 20 years ago. It's worth considerably more now.
