In the 4th Harry Potter Movie, why is Peter Pettigrew always called "Wormtail"?
I have not read Harry Potter books, but have seen the movies. In the 3rd movie Rat Ron proved Pierre Pettigrew, who was responsible for the death of Harry's parents. Pierre Pettigrew, was escaped and reappeared in the 4th movie. His character was in a small number of dreams and Harry in the graveyard where Harry faced Lord Voldamort. Whenever it appears in the film 4, it is always named "Wormtail". It was clearly the same, but be treated in different name. I was wondering if there was a reason that was discussed in the book that was not represented in the film. So does anyone know why this is? Thank you in advance .- Ok Brit. That makes sense. This was my suggestion, but I was just curious. I do not actually intend to read books, have simply not yet begun. Sirius, James Potter, Lupine and Wormtail nicknames created, which corresponded with the animals they have changed and printed in these names on map of Mauderer's. They called each other by these nicknames when they were in public and did not want to know who they were talking. Sirius was Padfoot (dog), Potter was Prongs (deer), Moony Lupine (werewolf), and Pettigrew was Wormtail (rat). Really, you should read the books. The film left out some of the best scenes and important information.
