For all you Jersey Nursing homes, in do you think of this? I just want to make you aware of that if I stop at least one person from getting ripped off. OMG what is in this salad? Platinum Flakes? Excuse me for the misspelling on the residents ... I am so I'm out of angy myself. JC, I'm not stupid. At the sale of tuna box for a consumer is less than a dollar at the grocery store. (including the box itself) Above this Wawa is a chain mass convenience store that sells by the truckload. In addition, they have their own food processing. Sorry. I am not a naive consumer who think that gas prices and the economy can EFFFECT tuna salad such a massive degree.
6.99 per pound on the door price for the salad tuna these days. Thon has increased. Everything has increased. Shipping, energy bills (anything fuel related). chain reaction. You were not torn. Someone had to make this tuna salad (they are paid for work). All food chains are feeling effects. So do not feel that way. I am in the food industry and nobody makes money now. Rates may go even higher. Wait a second. I do not say you were stupid. Running a store cost a lot of money right now. If you thought you were ripped off and they were much money, how do you explain all the supermarkets out of business? If you buy the tuna in a can is much less expensive if you made yourself. Prob is, it costs so much money for them to do. Everything is pre-made for you (which saves you time) more expensive. If your time is worth no money, just do it yourself. Furthermore, cheaper tuna salads more economical use of tuna. There are about 6 types of tuna canned may be used by a market Tongul Solid White Albacore etc. etc. We use albacore and it's expensive now. Mayonnaise also rose. If I see Tuna under $ 6.00 per lb, I'm not buying, you get what you pay for. $ 1.00 a lb.? Catfood (maybe). I just read your closing statement price of fuel not food expenses make. Sorry my dear.
