Identify my Jeep Willys?
I have a body Willys Jeep, but can not quite pin model or year. I think it an M38 around 1949-51 that the gauges are in the center of the dashboard on a separate plate. There is a box Glover on the right side, but it is much more smaller than what I saw in the pictures. it is not rectangular, but more square (with a notch) the windshield in one piece, with a vent below the vent has 2 locking bars close. When I look at the other M38, opening the door a different aspect. The bottom edge is straight, but below the opening of the door, there is an impression in the metal, opening the door does not go straight, it slightly bent. This car has been through so much, I wonder what it was really early! Oh, one more catch, there is no VIN plate. All I can find a number on the driver's side under the hood raised in the body 85,304
