A team of scientists has tracked a genetic mutation that causes blue eyes. The mutation took place between 6000 and 10,000 years ago. Before that, there were no blue eyes. So give me a plausible explanation of how eyes BROWN mutated in the blue eyes, as no indigenous people had blue eyes?
The brown-eyed gene could be changed by a stray cosmic ray, some alpha emitters ingested substance (like uranium), several Other chemical mutagens (natural), etc. causing mutation in the gene. It probably happened several times over hundreds of thousands of years people. The people of Copenhagen are probably wrong that the first happened 10,000 years ago.
