Breakfast Cup
How can I make my husband breakfast delicious and healthy, he can drink?
My husband is always in a hurry in the morning, so I want him breakfast in one (cup like a smoothie, but more breakfast-like). Its preferred hosts are scrambled eggs and bacon, pancakes and syrup, ham and cheese grits. He always eats a banana and a cup of coffee. I tried to mix scrambled eggs, bacon, banana, coffee together, but he said he was absolutely disgusting. He generally likes all of these foods. What am I doing wrong?
I am not a leader when it comes to mixing the ingredients, but I'm sure there's a way to do something. Nice try, good wife. Regarding egg, bacon and pancakes smoothie ... I give him a pita wrap with scrambled these ingredients "go" (ix-even coffee in it) or a muffin-like "piece to go" using normal bread to cover bottom of a pammed / slightly greased 9x13 glass, mix all ingredients together (sub for brown sugar maple syrup?) and pour over bread. Bake in oven? 400? for about an hour and you should have a good breakfast bread for him. Try rotating the ingredients for a firmer texture if at first you do not succeed. I learned this trick from a very good cook gourmet, but it was so long ago that I do not remember the details. Obviously, he made a good impression even if I do not want to share one of my favorite smoothies with you though. I like a fruit smoothie with a whole banana, half a cantaloupe, about 1 / 2 cup orange juice and about 1 cup strawberry yogurt (no seeds in this way). I love it and quite healthy. Lfrech4/Linda
